Product description
What you receive: one panoramic jigsaw composed of 1,000 die-cut pieces that assemble into a 13" x 39" scene of hot air balloons rising over Albuquerque.
Construction: The puzzle is printed with non-toxic, soy-based inks on board made from 100% recycled fiber. Pieces are produced in a range of unique cuts to increase variety and challenge, and the heavier cardboard creates a solid feel when fitting pieces together.
Finish and fit: An anti-glare matte coating helps reduce reflections and eye strain while you work. Pieces are designed to interlock tightly so completed sections hold together well, making them easier to move or prepare for mounting.
Use and purpose: Intended for adults, teens, and family groups, this panoramic design makes a social activity for game nights or a solitary pastime for relaxation and cognitive engagement. Its elongated dimensions also make it a striking candidate for framing or gluing once assembled.
Brand note: Produced by MasterPieces, a U.S.-based puzzle and game maker, this product is part of a broader lineup of jigsaws, card decks, and tabletop games aimed at varied age groups and group settings.
Pros
- 1000-piece panoramic design yields an impressive finished image
- Printed with soy-based inks on 100% recycled board
- Sturdy pieces with anti-glare matte finish
Cons
- Long, narrow size can be awkward on small tables
- Some users report missing pieces occasionally
- Challenging cut variety may frustrate casual puzzlers
VerdictThis 1,000-piece panoramic puzzle delivers a vivid, elongated scene ideal for hobbyists who enjoy a challenging, social build. The pieces are sturdy and interlock snugly, and the matte finish keeps glare low. Environmentally conscious production using recycled board and soy-based inks is a plus. Its unusual size makes it great for framing but can be awkward for limited tablespaces. Occasional repo

Too large for our space
I should have chosen a smaller size. Only one piece showed slight peeling; otherwise the product was fine.

High quality construction
Well-made pieces and an interesting variety of cuts; image wraps nicely to the piece edges. One piece was missing, but overall I’ll order more from this maker.

Challenging and long
Difficult but rewarding. Needed strong lighting to spot matches and had it framed due to its length.

Great recovery project
Bought for my son while he recuperated from surgery — it looked wonderful and he plans to glue it.
