Product description
This even-feed presser foot is supplied as a compact kit: the walking foot assembly plus an integrated 1/4-inch quilting guide and a removable quilting bar for setting parallel stitch lines. The kit provides the core pieces needed for straight-line quilting and guided piecing.
The foot is constructed with a metal base and a durable feed mechanism to manage thicker materials. The metal bottom plate and internal feed teeth are built to withstand sewing through leather, denim, canvas, upholstery fabrics and quilt sandwiches without bending or excessive wear.
The attached quilting guide is set to a standard 1/4-inch to help accurate piecing and seam allowance control; the quilting bar can be positioned for repeatable spacing when stitching parallel lines. These features make this accessory useful for bagmaking, home décor items, small quilts and layering projects.
Engineered for low-shank machines, the foot fits most Brother, Singer, Janome and Babylock-style low-shank heads. The foot clamps to the machine’s presser bar and the walking arm synchronizes with the needle clamp to advance the top layers in step with the feed dogs beneath.
Using the foot: install it in place of your standard presser foot, attach the quilting guide or bar as needed, and test on scrap layers to set stitch length and tension. It helps prevent shifting, puckering and skipped stitches when working with multiple layers or slippery fabrics.
Pros
- Even feeding across several fabric layers
- Sturdy metal construction for thick materials
- Includes 1/4-inch guide and quilting bar
Cons
- Requires careful installation on some machines
- Fits only low-shank models
- May need a tutorial for first-time users
VerdictThis walking foot delivers steady, even feeding for layered or heavy fabrics thanks to a robust metal base and a firm feed mechanism. It includes a 1/4-inch quilting guide and a quilting bar for consistent line spacing. Best suited for low-shank machines from brands such as Brother, Singer, Janome and Babylock; installation can require a little patience on some models. Overall, it’s a practical ad

Open-toe version is handy
I selected the open-toe 24mm style so I could see the stitch line. It fit my Brother and smoothed feeding on small quilted and thicker pieces.

Works with Janome and Brother
I needed a temporary replacement and it ran well on both Janome and Brother machines. It fed layers evenly and prevented puckering; setup was straightforward.

Worth the purchase
This has really improved my layered sewing. It fits my low-shank machine perfectly — just confirm your shank type before ordering.

Worked well on my Brother
I used it for a new project and it performed as expected. I watched a video to learn the steps since the paper directions weren't detailed enough for me.

Great for new sewists
Simple to attach and easy to learn. I bought one and my daughter got one too — it helped her gain confidence with quilting layers.

Mixed results so far
I’m giving it three stars for now. Installation on my heavy-duty Singer was fiddly and my initial felt test showed only modest improvement; I’ll reassess after more use.
