Product description
This wooden pollinator house contains pre-drilled nesting tubes and a clear viewing panel so you can observe nesting behavior safely.
Constructed from solid timber with a transparent acrylic (plexiglass) window, the exterior has been treated with a bee-friendly wax coating to help resist moisture and extend the life of the unit.
The package arrives in a decorative box and is presented as a ready-to-gift bee hotel kit. The back includes metal hooks for hanging the house securely (screws or other fixings are not included).
Use it by mounting the house to a fence, wall, or post in a sunny, sheltered spot. The viewing panel opens so you can inspect activity without disturbing occupants. If the product does not meet expectations, contact the seller under the guaranteed kit policy.
Pros
- Clear viewing panel for observation

Functional and openable
Good size and simple to put together. I appreciate that the front opens for viewing. Something has already taken up residence.

No privacy for nesting in current layout
Looks lovely and has held up, but no bees nested after over a year. The window grooves line up so chambers are too visible. I plan to add cardboard dividers to hide one side from the other and try again.

Sturdy and already in use
Delivery took a bit longer due to the courier, but the product is well made. After four weeks I found two full tunnels of eggs and several in progress — both red mason bees and a mason wasp using it.

Love watching the bees
I put this up less than a week ago and already have visitors. Seeing mason bees collect pollen and settle into the chambers in the evening is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Hanging bracket failed
I secured it to a fence but found it on the ground after a week. The metal hanger on the back detached from the house. I fixed it by screwing through the top triangle. For the cost I expected a sturdier hanger.

Ignore alignment complaints — fit correctly
I almost skipped buying because of complaints about panel alignment, but it fits fine when the acrylic notch faces the hinge. Nicely made with a secure latch.

Well built, follow the assembly cues
The plexiglass only fits one direction — align the cutouts with the hinges. I received two units and installed both easily. Comes with screws, an Allen key, and a cleaning tool. I plan to add a water-repellent stain outside for longevity. Be patient for bees to find it; sometimes it takes months.

Missing parts and poor condition
Arrived unassembled and several parts were missing. The items that did arrive felt cheaply made. Disappointed with the condition it arrived in.

Alignment issue then replaced
I adore bee hotels. Initially the holes did not line up, but after contacting the company they eventually sent a complete replacement.
