Product description
Includes one strawberry-shaped ceramic cave ornament finished with an ice-crackle style glaze.
The piece is formed from ceramic and coated with a glossy glaze. The fine webbing visible beneath the surface is the result of a firing technique that produces an attractive crackle pattern — not structural damage. The exterior is smooth and polished for a decorative, handcrafted appearance.
Designed as a compact hide for small aquatic species, the rounded tunnel and open back offer an inviting space for bettas, shrimp, guppies and other petite fish to explore, rest, or hide. The wide opening allows fish to swim through and perch around the entrance.
Maintenance is simple — the glazed surface wipes or rinses clean and requires no assembly. Place the ornament directly onto gravel or substrate; the flat bottom helps keep it positioned without tipping.
Overall dimensions are roughly 4.3" long by 3.1" high, with a cave entrance approximately 1.98" across. The ceramic construction gives it a pleasant heft appropriate for aquarium use and many alternative decorative or small-animal setups.
Pros
- Attractive handcrafted crackle-glaze finish
- Smooth edges and stable flat base for safety
- Compact size suited to bettas, shrimp, and nano tanks
Cons
- Glaze crackle may make some wary of submerging
- May not match expected color saturation for all buyers
- Size may be too large or too small for certain tanks
VerdictA charming ceramic hideaway that combines decorative appeal with practical shelter for small aquatic pets. The glazed, crackle-effect finish gives a handmade look while the smooth edges and flat base make it safe and stable in nano tanks and desktop aquaria. Sized for bettas, shrimp, and guppies, but check measurements for very small or very tight setups.

Nice look but smaller than pictured
Much smaller than I anticipated. I like the shape and the tones, but I wish both the strawberry and the opening were a bit larger. Still a pleasant addition to my tank.

It’s not opening. Pressed down on the latch at the bottom with my whole body wei 1/5
Too sharp
Sharp edges — not suitable for fish.

Charming and versatile little shelter
This strawberry is incredibly cute and fit perfectly into a fairy garden project rather than my aquarium. The ceramic feels solid and the glaze is attractive, with plenty of detail. I appreciate that it’s not limited to underwater use — it would work well as a tiny hide for hamsters or even some arachnids. The entrance is a good size for small pets and the smooth surface feels higher quality than many cheaper decor options. I’d consider getting another for a different display; it’s a very cute, multi-purpose piece.

Lovely, sturdy tank accent
Adorable piece and well constructed. The ceramic feels solid and the edges are smooth, so it’s safe for animals. Adds a colorful, playful touch to the tank. My gecko even hides in it!

Pretty and practical
One of the cutest decorations I’ve seen. It’s a lovely pink and the crackle pattern looks great underwater. Smooth finish, roomy enough for various small fish, and heavy enough to stay put but still easy to move. My fish enjoy it and I do too.

Lighter tones and glaze concerns in person
I bought this for my betta but it’s too big for his tiny square tank. The pink and green are paler in reality, and the crackle glaze made me hesitant about fully submerging it. It will probably become a dry decorative piece. Construction is thick and sturdy with a reliable base.

Attractive, well-made strawberry cave
This strawberry makes a fun, decorative hide for a tank and gives fish a cozy spot to explore. The finish is glossy and the edges are rounded so nothing will scratch fish. The hue leans toward a muted pink rather than a bright red, which didn’t bother me. It measures about 4.3" long and 3.1" high with a 1.98" entrance. Ceramic feels appropriately heavy and durable, and the flat bottom keeps it sitting steady on gravel. It would also work nicely in small-animal setups or as a cute planter accent.
