Product description
What you receive: a single 5/8-inch diameter by 100-foot garden hose in gray, ready for typical outdoor watering and jobsite tasks. It’s assembled in the USA and sized to match conventional 5/8" hoses for compatible fittings and flow.
Construction and limits: the line is built to be roughly half the weight of standard commercial vinyl hoses while maintaining equivalent internal flow. The material is lead-free and rated safe for drinking water. The hose won’t expand or contract in use, so it maintains an uninterrupted high flow even under load. Maximum feed water temperature is 80°F.
Performance and protection: designed to stay flexible in cooler weather down to about 35°F, it resists kinking, abrasion, leaks and punctures. The outer jacket and internal tube are engineered to withstand heavy crushing forces (up to 1,800 lbf) and boast a burst rating of over 600 psi, making it durable for demanding tasks.
How to use: this hose is intended for standard garden and light commercial use — watering beds, washing vehicles, running small pressure-fed tools or jobsite cleanup. Because it keeps shape and flow without expanding or retracting, it’s suitable where constant pressure and steady output are needed. Roll up, drain, and store in the same way as other garden hoses.
Pros
- About 50% lighter than comparable vinyl hoses
- Kink-resistant and remains flexible in cool weather
- High burst and crush resistance; drinking-water safe
Cons
- Some reports of leaks at fittings or mid-hose
- Needs care around the hose-end junction
- A few units may take longer to prime
VerdictThis 5/8" x 100' garden hose is noticeably lighter than traditional vinyl lines and delivers steady water flow without stretching or collapsing. Its abrasion- and puncture-resistant outer jacket, lead-free drinking-water-safe construction, and high burst rating make it suited for both home gardens and tougher jobsite use. A small number of users report mid-hose leaks or issues at the connection, s

Owned four for years with no issues
I’ve had two 100' lines for over a decade and recently added two more. They’ve been trouble-free, even after being left outside through Michigan winters. Very lightweight and easy to move around.

Started leaking after a year
It lasted about one year before developing a leak that couldn’t be repaired. It also kinks more easily than I expected.

A real help for weaker arms
I bought two 100' hoses and they don’t tangle or weigh me down. Nozzle threads on cleanly with no leaks. At 74 years old these are far easier to handle than heavy, kinking hoses I used before — they’ve saved my arm from extra strain.

Ideal for tight garden beds
I struggled with heavy hoses for years; this one is lightweight and maneuvers around plants without damaging them. The outer weave feels sturdy and hand-friendly. Tight bends can reduce flow, but a quick shake restores it. I’ll buy another for the front yard.

Works well except at one junction
The hose is light, easy to drain and roll up, but the area where the hose meets the plastic end needs reinforcement. I hold it there while watering to avoid stress. Otherwise great — that’s why it’s four stars.

Durable and backed by a warranty
This is our second purchase; the first lasted years without leaking at the nozzle or body. Lightweight and manageable, it resists kinks if pressure is adequate. It includes a five-year warranty — I registered it via the included QR code and contacted the maker to confirm details.

Arrived leaking and damaged
It was a nightmare to untangle from the box and leaked at both ends right away. It took ages to prime and there was a puncture in the inner liner that seeped a milky liquid. Returning it is costly and the fittings aren’t removable to repair.

Long, light hose that resists kinks
For a 100 ft hose it’s surprisingly easy to drag and stow. I’ve had a 75 ft version out in Arizona sun for about two years without problems, so I stuck with this brand. Kinking hasn’t been an issue for me.

Made watering take much longer
This replacement hose made gardening miserable. I expected the same performance as another model from the same brand I love, but this one slowed my watering and felt frustrating to use. For my large garden it tripled the time it takes to water.

Connection leaks and receipt discrepancy
Very disappointed — the connection to the tap leaks constantly and the paperwork in the box shows a different amount than I paid. Not what I expected for the money.

No kinks and easy to store
Holds shape when filled, coils neatly when empty and is light enough to handle easily. Fittings are aluminum and haven’t shown rust while remaining durable. I replaced our vinyl hose with this and won’t go back.

Durable and worth paying more for
This hose maneuvers smoothly and resists kinking more than cheaper hoses I’ve tried. My parents have had one for years, so I trusted the quality. Spend a bit more up front and you get a reliable line.

Works for feeding a small pressure washer
I bought this to feed an electric pressure washer of about 1.3 gpm. Let the water run long enough to purge air before starting the washer. The hose is light to carry when empty; I store it after each use. I recommend it.
