Product description
Versatile garden utility: This Hori Hori knife is designed to tackle planting, transplanting, digging, dividing, cutting roots, and measuring planting depth. It’s suitable for gardening beds, pots, and outdoor chores like camping and fishing tasks.
Multifunction blade: The 7-inch stainless steel blade has a straight cutting edge and a serrated side to saw through tough roots. The curved profile helps scoop soil, inch markings on the blade let you gauge planting depth, and a notched slot serves for cutting cord and can double as a bottle opener in the field.
Solid construction and size: The overall length is about 12.1 inches with a 7-inch blade made from high-grade, rust-resistant stainless steel. The blade extends into a full tang for added durability and resistance to bending during heavy use.
Ergonomic wood handle: A shaped wooden handle is secured with three metal rivets and follows a full-tang design to provide a confident grip and leverage. The handle’s form reduces hand fatigue while digging or prying.
Carry and storage: A molded protective sheath with a belt loop keeps the blade covered and ready at your hip. The handle also includes a hole for hanging on a peg or hook in the garage or shed for tidy storage.
Pros
- Durable full-tang stainless-steel blade
- Dual-edge design with depth markings
- Comfortable riveted wooden handle
Cons
- Very sharp edges require care
- Heavier than some lightweight trowels
- Sheath snap can be stiff at first
VerdictA rugged, multifunction hand tool for gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts. The 7" stainless blade combines a straight edge and serrations for cutting roots and slicing, plus depth markings and a cord-cutting slot. Full-tang steel and a riveted wooden handle deliver strength and comfort, while the sheath keeps it secure for transport. Great for planting, transplanting, digging, dividing, and campsite

Solidly built and reliable
I wanted a heavy-duty hand weeder and this delivered. Thick metal, blade runs into the handle, root-cut notch and a roomy grip. The sheath is well made. Works as intended for garden tasks.

Wish I’d had this years ago
So many functions in one tool — cutting, measuring, digging. Bought a second one as a gift because it’s so reliable. Be careful: the edges are extremely sharp; I nicked myself once.

Good all-purpose outdoor knife
Sharp out of the box and plenty of heft from the full tang. Holds an edge and is easy to resharpen. The sheath is practical with a belt loop and snap to secure the knife.
