Product description
What’s included: a 13.5-inch flat-bottom carbon steel wok, a 17-inch stainless steel spatula, and a 17-inch stainless ladle.
Materials and finish: the wok is made from heavy-duty black carbon steel and comes pre-seasoned at temperatures above 600°F using proprietary methods. The handle is wooden and ergonomically shaped for a secure grip. The spatula and ladle are one-piece stainless steel for strength and longevity.
Size and fit: the 13.5" wok has a flat base for stability on modern stovetops and works well on 13–14" or larger pans; the 17" utensils give you distance from the heat so your hands stay safe during tosses and flips.
How it’s used: heat the wok thoroughly, finish the seasoning with oil as with any traditional Chinese wok, and use the stainless spatula and ladle for high-heat stirring, steaming, or tossing. The metal tools are built to resist bending and to match the wok’s curve for efficient stirring.
Care notes: although pre-seasoned, the pan still requires initial oiling and periodic maintenance. Carbon steel will develop and depend on a seasoned surface for better release; if not dried and oiled after use it can rust, so wipe and lightly oil after cleaning.
Pros
- Heats quickly and distributes heat evenly
- Robust carbon steel construction with ergonomic wooden handle
- Long stainless tools keep hands away from heat and won’t bend
Cons
- Needs routine seasoning and maintenance
- Can rust if not dried and oiled after use
- Flat-bottom design not ideal for traditional round burners
VerdictThis set delivers the essentials for high-heat stir-frying: a solid, pre-seasoned 13.5" carbon steel wok with a comfortable wooden handle plus long stainless utensils for safe, effective stirring. It performs well once properly seasoned and maintained, but it does need regular care to avoid rust. Ideal for cooks who use high heat and prefer metal tools.

Rusted quickly for me
I ended up discarding it after it developed heavy rust very fast.

An excellent single-pan replacement
Replacing non-stick cookware led me to this wok. It tolerates very high heat and metal tools. I adapted a lid from an older pan; a metal lid is useful for steaming and keeping food warm. The spatula’s curve fits the wok well. Care is similar to cast iron: scrub if needed, then dry and oil to maintain the seasoning.

Works great if seasoned properly
Follow the seasoning steps: heat the pan, then add oil before cooking to reduce sticking.

Good first wok
My first wok — solid steel without being too heavy. The utensils changed how I cook; very satisfied.

Built well — I keep using it
Like the flat-bottom model and I use it constantly. Considering a round wok for outdoor burners.
