Product description
6.5-inch HD Color Display with Adaptive Backlight
The console uses a 6.5" high-definition color screen with large numerals and an adjustable backlight so you can dim it for bedrooms or boost brightness for bright outdoor-facing windows. The panel shows multiple readings at once so indoor and outdoor conditions are visible at a glance from counters, bedside tables, or workbenches.
Complete 12-in-1 Sensor Suite
The outdoor assembly combines temperature and humidity sensing, an anemometer for wind speed and vane for wind direction, and an integrated rain gauge. The system reports indoor/outdoor temperature ranges of 32°F–140°F (−40°C–60°C), humidity from 10%–99%, and barometric pressure spanning 300–1100 hPa. It also calculates dew point and feels-like temperature, displays moon phase and calendar info, and provides a 12–24 hour local forecast.
Rain Measurement and Memory
The tipping-style rain gauge logs precipitation from 0 up to 9999 mm with stated accuracy of about ±7% across the range. It stores hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and cumulative totals so you can review recent rainfall without manual notes — useful for garden watering decisions or tracking storm totals across seasons.
Wireless Range, Power and Setup
The outdoor sensor transmits to the indoor display over a wireless link rated to about 443 ft in open air and can penetrate light obstructions such as trees or siding. The kit includes a mounting bracket for poles or railings and syncs to the console within seconds — no Wi‑Fi, app, hub, or subscription required. Power options typically include a DC adapter for the display with AAA battery backup, while the outdoor sensor uses battery backup and a small solar panel to extend runtime.
Pros
- Comprehensive local readings on one screen
- Long wireless range and easy, no‑app setup
- Rainfall history with hourly/daily/weekly/monthly totals
Cons
- No internet integration, app, or text alerts
- Some users reported indoor display reliability issues
- Rain and some metrics are estimate-level (±7% for rain)
VerdictThis unit delivers compact, local weather monitoring on a single, easy-to-read screen — ideal for gardeners, hobby farmers, and anyone who wants immediate on-site readings. Installation and pairing are straightforward, the rainfall memory and multi-metric display are genuinely useful, and the wireless range suits larger properties. Keep in mind it lacks internet integration or text alerts and some

Good value but identical units across listings
I received two versions from separate listings and found them to be the same hardware except for bezel color. Setup and performance matched on both. I compared it to a much pricier weather model I’ve used and this unit does a lot for a fraction of that cost, though it lacks higher-end precision and features.

All the local numbers in one place
The console displays indoor/outdoor temps and humidity, wind speed/direction, rainfall, barometric pressure, dew point and feels‑like values alongside a moon phase — very helpful for gardening and property care. The rain history (hourly to monthly) is practical, though accuracy is approximate (±7%) so treat readings as local estimates.

Finally adding my backyard to the map
I've used online forecasts for years and wanted to contribute data back. Mounting the sensor on a pole and getting the console talking took only a few minutes. Soon after setup my location appeared on the weather map and it felt satisfying to see local readings show up where before I only consumed forecasts.

Display failed after a short time
The sensor delivered good data at first, but the indoor display started glitching after about two weeks. Since the display is the primary interface, that failure made the whole system hard to use. I expected considerably longer reliability for a dedicated weather console.

Clear display and straightforward pairing
The system has two main parts: the outdoor sensor and the 6.5" display. Pairing was simple — long‑press the temp button on the display and reset the sensor. The display runs on DC power with AAA batteries as backup; the sensor uses replaceable AA cells. Once mounted away from obstructions the data appeared reliably.

Simple SA6 kit — easy mount and pairing
This is Sainlogic’s SA6 setup: an outdoor sensor with a small solar panel and battery compartment, plus a 6.5" indoor color display. I mounted the sensor about 14 feet high on a 4x4 post, placed the console in the kitchen, and the two paired by button press in seconds. It doesn’t use Wi‑Fi, which I found refreshingly straightforward.

Handy for fickle, local weather
Living where conditions change rapidly, this station gives an immediate sense of outdoor conditions and saves me constant guessing. Setup took under 30 minutes. The battery backup on the console is limited, and the clock can drift without network sync, but overall the live readings are useful for daily decisions.

Useful home weather readings and a thoughtful gift idea
Being able to measure my own microclimate has been worth it — local temperature and rainfall differ from city reports. I assembled and tested it at home and thought of an astronomy friend who needs accurate local conditions; this unit is a practical present for that use case.
