Product description
How to use: Drive the U-shaped supports into level ground on either side of your fire pit, mount the spit into the motor and opposite support, secure the meat with the forks, and start the motor. The slow rotation helps brown and baste the meat evenly while allowing you to control placement over coals or flames.
Pros
- Dual power: batteries or DC adapter
- Rust- and heat-resistant stainless parts
- 37" spit holds up to 20 lb
Cons
- Some motors reported to overheat
- Occasional discrepancies in spit length
- Limited height adjustment on some setups
VerdictA versatile campfire rotisserie with rugged stainless hardware and convenient dual power options. Great for whole birds and roasts up to 20 lb and simple to set up on soil or grass. Be aware some users report motor overheating or shorter spit lengths on certain units.

Versatile and inexpensive
Good value and serves multiple uses.

Spit shorter than advertised
Rod measured about 31 inches, not 37. Motor fit my grill so I kept it, but the listed length was misleading.

Good replacement forks for 5/16" rod
I ordered just the pair of forks, not the full assembly. They are stainless and dishwasher-safe, sized for a 5/16" shaft, and grip poultry securely. Too small for 3/8" rods, but fine if you already have a compatible rod and motor.

Overheats and stalls
Motor overheated repeatedly and stopped. Tried roasting an 11 lb chicken and rotation slowed and stalled.

Performed much better than I expected.

Great for family cookouts
Very happy with this rotisserie. Solid construction, reliable rotation, and we've used it many times already.

Failed on first use
Stopped working within minutes; motor and battery pack were damaged by heat. Couldn't lower the unit closer to the fire and it broke before we could adapt it.
