Product description
The glider ottoman is designed as a matching footrest for POLYWOOD Adirondack glider chairs and makes relaxing on a porch or patio more comfortable. What you receive is the gliding ottoman unit constructed from POLYWOOD lumber — a durable composite made primarily from recycled milk jugs and other plastics. The ottoman’s surfaced slats mimic traditional outdoor furniture styling while providing a firm, supportive top for resting feet.
Manufactured in the United States, POLYWOOD’s recycled plastic lumber eliminates the need for painting, staining, waterproofing, or similar seasonal maintenance. The company began in 1990 in Northern Indiana when founders recognized the outdoor performance potential of extruded recycled plastics. Since those early days they have expanded to a large production footprint and modernized processes, using 3D design, CNC fabrication, and lean manufacturing to scale up product lines and maintain consistent quality.
The ottoman’s footprint measures approximately 17.5 inches by 16.5 inches with a height around 20 inches, making it sized to work well with glider chairs and similar seating. POLYWOOD offers the Adirondack collection in a range of color options so the ottoman can coordinate with other pieces. Its solid, weather-resistant construction is intended to provide seasons of service at the beach, on a deck, or in a garden without the routine upkeep required by wood furniture.

Good quality, but pricey
The glide mechanism works well and the height is right for use with two basket swings I paired it with. Construction feels robust and it looks right with outdoor furniture. My main reservation is the cost — I hope they hold up for many years to justify it.

Absolutely delighted
I bought this glider ottoman to use with my porch rocking chairs and it’s been a perfect match. I often add an outdoor cushion for extra softness, but the ottoman alone is comfortable and helps me stretch out while I rock. The glide is exceptionally smooth and quiet, and the piece feels solid and stable. It pairs nicely with my existing seats and has become my go-to for relaxed afternoons on the porch.
