Product description
Built to be compact and durable, each set includes 12 retractable mini box cutters with one single-edge SK5 blade installed in every unit. The shells are all-metal, which helps protect the knife from damage if dropped and keeps the blade held tightly to prevent side-to-side movement during cutting. Each cutter weighs about 22.4 g, making them light enough to carry in a pocket, glove box, or small compartment.
Operation is simple: a quick tap extends the blade and another tap retracts it, fully enclosing the blade inside the metal housing for storage. The blades are SK5 carbon steel, chosen for sharpness and resistance to corrosion and wear while slicing tape, cardboard, plastic film, envelopes, and light materials like cloth or thin wood.
Beyond routine cutting, these mini knives can serve as a scraper for removing stickers or residue from glass, tile, or painted surfaces when used carefully. They are smaller than a standard utility knife, so they reduce hand fatigue during repetitive tasks and are easier to keep in multiple locations for convenience.
The pack arrives with the cutters organized in a clear plastic box, making it simple to carry or distribute spares to different workstations. Note that each cutter accepts a single blade only and does not store additional blades inside the body.
Pros
- Durable all-metal housing reduces blade wobble
- Sharp SK5 single-edge blades for precise cuts
- Lightweight and easy to store across multiple locations
Cons
- Thin blades can be fragile if abused
- No internal storage for spare blades
- Some units may feel stiff to slide at first
VerdictThese small metal retractable cutters deliver sharp, precise cuts for everyday packing and household tasks. The SK5 blades slice through tape, cardboard, film and fabric with minimal effort, while the snug all-metal housings reduce blade wobble and survive drops. They’re economical to stock by the dozen and easy to stash in pockets, toolboxes, or glove compartments. Note that the blades are thin a

Wrong color but functional
They shipped me a different color than I expected, but the cutters themselves work fine.

High quality and dependable
The cutters are sturdy and durable. The slide was a bit tight initially, but loosening the mechanism slightly solved that. I’d recommend them for anyone who needs a reliable, compact cutter for home projects.

Solid, reliable little cutters
I liked them enough to reorder. The blade extends and retracts smoothly but stays locked when closed, so they’re pocket-safe. Their slim size fits easily in small jeans pockets. Blades are standard single-edge, so replacements are inexpensive and easy to swap.

Stand out color and sharp blades
I misplaced my old cutters during a move, so I picked these up. The bright colors make them easy to spot. Blades are sharp and change out easily. The slide locks closed securely, so kids can’t open them by accident.

So useful — I wish I’d had them sooner
These tiny cutters quickly became essentials around my house. I handed a couple to each family member and kept the rest to place in rooms and drawers. They make opening deliveries, removing tags, and slicing tape much faster than scissors. The metal case feels secure in hand and the slide is simple to pop open or lock away. Sharp enough to handle most everyday tasks.

Good quality for a bulk set
I received twelve cutters, each with a blade preinstalled. They don’t store a spare blade inside the body, unlike some models, but the metal casing adds durability and a safer feel. Blades are sharp but fairly thin, so avoid prying motions that could snap them. The included plastic case is a nice touch for organization.

Simple design that works very well
These are handy for opening parcels, breaking down boxes, and general household use. Comfortable to grip and safer with the retractable blade. When dull, just change the blade instead of tossing the whole tool. Having a dozen means one is almost always within reach.

Dangerous — blades slip while cutting
The product is unsafe: the blades came loose while cutting and can be a hazard. I wouldn’t recommend these until the design is improved.

Too stiff for comfortable use
The sliders are very stiff and hard on my hands. Difficult to open and close repeatedly.

Extremely simple and compact
One of the simplest utility knives to use. Very compact and replacement blades are cheap. They used to be common promotional items, and they’re surprisingly useful when you have a lot of boxes to open at work.
