Product description
High-bandwidth transfer: These Cat8 patch cords support up to 40Gbps data rates and a bandwidth of 2000MHz, allowing heavy network loads like cloud backups, HD video streaming, online gaming, and server connections without bottlenecks.
What’s included and sizing: The package contains two 10-foot (≈3 m) flat Ethernet cables, offering two ready-to-use RJ45 leads for linking routers, switches, consoles, or PCs.
Shielded construction and materials: Each cable is built with four shielded, foil-wrapped twisted pairs (S/FTP) and 30AWG pure copper conductors. The RJ45 ends are plated with 24K gold for improved contact and reduced corrosion, helping lower crosstalk and external interference.
Flat, flexible routing: The slender flat profile is intended for neat installations where a round cable would be intrusive — it easily slips under carpets, runs along baseboards, or fits through windows and door seams while remaining flexible for tight bends.
Durable jacket for indoor/outdoor use: A high-quality PVC outer jacket provides water resistance and corrosion protection, making these leads suitable for indoor runs and brief outdoor or exposed applications where extra toughness is beneficial.
Pros
- Very high bandwidth and data rate support
- S/FTP shielding with pure copper and gold-plated plugs
- Flat design for unobtrusive routing
Cons
- Short 10 ft length may not suit longer runs
- PVC jacket limits prolonged outdoor burying
- Flat cables can be harder to repair if pinched
VerdictThese flat Cat8 LAN cables provide high-frequency performance and solid shielding in a compact, easy-to-route design. The 2-pack of 10 ft leads uses S/FTP construction with pure copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 connectors to cut interference and maintain stable throughput for gaming, streaming, and server tasks. The thin, flat profile and durable PVC jacket make routing under carpets, throug

Solid cable — arrived well packed
Package came intact and the cords were neatly coiled. Setup was straightforward and they feel sturdy and flexible. My cat tried to gnaw a protective cap but the connector stayed intact. Length was a pleasant surprise and the included tie and bag make storage easy. Planning to use one for my router replacement.

Huge improvement for online gaming
Swapped this in to stop lag during matches and it made a noticeable difference. Previously got low Mbps and high latency; with the cable I saw speeds jump into the hundreds and the delay vanished, giving a much smoother experience and fairer gameplay.
