Product description
Built on the Polaris architecture and a 14 nm manufacturing node, this RX 580 variant uses the Polaris 20 XTX design and supports modern APIs including DirectX 12. The adapter is equipped with 8GB of GDDR5 memory running at the manufacturer-stated clock and a set of onboard processors consistent with the model’s specification to handle contemporary game workloads.
For connectivity the card exposes two DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI output, enabling connection of up to two monitors simultaneously and support for high-resolution panels up to 4K. It interfaces with the system through a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, allowing high-bandwidth communication with the CPU and memory subsystem for gaming and multimedia tasks.
In typical gaming scenarios the GPU aims to provide steady frame delivery and minimized visual artifacts, with enhanced color and contrast compared to integrated graphics. It is intended to smooth gameplay and maintain fluid visuals across a broad range of titles, especially at 1080p and medium-to-high settings.
Thermal management uses a semi-automatic fan system that detects GPU temperature and can stop the fans under light load to reduce noise and wear. The card occupies two expansion slots and is designed with durability in mind for extended desktop use.
Power is supplied via a single 8-pin connector and the board’s thermal/power design specifies a peak draw in the card’s rated range. Prior to installation ensure your power supply and case have the necessary capacity and clearance to accommodate a dual-slot card.
Pros
- 8GB GDDR5 memory suitable for modern titles and media
- Multiple outputs (2x DP + 1x HDMI) for multi-monitor and 4K support
- Semi-passive fan stops at low load for quiet idle operation
Cons
- Requires a single 8-pin power connector and sufficient PSU capacity
- Dual-slot design needs adequate case space
- Older Polaris architecture may lag behind current flagship GPUs
VerdictThe AISURIX RX 580 8GB is a mainstream gaming GPU that delivers solid 1080p performance and competent media playback for a variety of uses. It uses Polaris 20 silicon on a 14 nm process, includes 8GB of GDDR5 memory clocked to the quoted frequency, and provides multiple display outputs for multi-monitor setups. Cooling is semi-passive for quieter idle operation, and the card draws power through a

Solid performance and stable temps
Runs games smoothly—I’m seeing around 85 FPS in Fortnite. Thermals are acceptable, averaging about 72°C, and visual fidelity is good for the tier.

Had to return — instability issues
I returned mine soon after installing because it repeatedly glitched and froze when switching windows. Unit crashed multiple times; feels risky if you get a faulty sample.

Check compatibility first
Product itself was fine but it didn’t work with my PC due to incompatibility, so confirm your system specs before buying.

Reliable for Linux testing and media
Works fine under Linux for video playback and distro testing. Quiet until load spikes. It’s a refined evolution of the previous generation and suits light server or lab use.

Good fit for mid-range builds
Installed it on a Gigabyte B550 board and it performs well for everyday gaming and media. DisplayPort improves 1080p output, colors are richer than integrated graphics, and installation was straightforward.

Balanced choice if you have the PSU
This card offers a good balance of power and cost but needs a strong power supply. I returned mine because my PSU wasn’t sufficient, but a friend used it and was very happy.
