Product description
This kit includes four dedicated edge bevelers in 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm widths, providing options for narrow straps up to chunkier belts.
Each blade is made from high-carbon steel that has been heat treated for hardness and edge retention. The metal edges are intended to glide through veg-tanned and similar leathers without tearing, delivering a smooth, consistent shave across the edge.
The handles are solid wood, ergonomically shaped to reduce fatigue and provide a secure grip during repetitive push cuts. The wooden construction also gives tactile feedback and balance for controlled trimming.
Designed for edge skiving and rounding, these tools remove sharp corners and create a rounded profile that simplifies subsequent burnishing, slicking, or painting. They work as prep tools for professional-looking finished edges.
Packaged as a ready-to-use set, the blades can be resharpened when needed, and the compact range of sizes makes this set a handy gift for anyone building a leatherworking toolkit.
Pros
- Hardened high-carbon steel blades for clean cuts
- Four precise widths to suit varied projects
- Comfortable solid wood handles for good control
Cons
- Occasional inconsistently ground blade reported
- May need periodic resharpening with heavy use
- Not intended for extremely thick industrial hides
VerdictA versatile four-piece kit that covers thin to medium-thick leather edge work. The hardened high-carbon blades slice cleanly and can be refreshed when dulled, while the shaped wood grips give good control for extended sessions. Most pieces perform well, though the occasional uneven grind may require a small touch-up. Overall, a practical addition for hobbyists and pros who finish, burnish, or pain

Clean trimming, comfortable grip
These wooden-handled cutters produce smooth, burnishable curves. The different millimeter sizes handle thin straps and thicker belts without feeling fragile.

One tool mis-ground
The #3 arrived with an extra bevel on the side, so it cuts much wider than expected. #2 was fine. Returning the set for replacement.

Solid, serviceable beveler set
Fits work up to about 3mm nicely. The wood handles are pleasant to hold, the blades are sharp and can be honed. With care these should last.
