Product description
Please note: this 1.5-inch underwater LED light is a self-contained fixture and will not interface with external controllers. It must be powered by a 120 VAC → 12 VAC transformer (sold separately). Do not use a 120 VAC → 12 V DC adapter — supplying DC instead of AC can cause malfunction or permanent damage.
The lamp features a smooth stainless-steel shell and IP68 fully sealed waterproof construction for reliable underwater operation without annual resealing. The package contains one 1.5″ nicheless pool light with an attached 50-foot cord to accommodate typical wiring runs.
A handheld remote is included for wireless control up to about 180 feet (remote batteries not included). The controller gives access to more than 16 colors, static single-color selection and dynamic scenes such as flashing, jumping, and color-change modes to customize pool ambiance.
Electrical requirements are 12 VAC input at 15 W. Transformers (120 VAC → 12 VAC) are not included and must be purchased separately; using the wrong voltage type risks damaging the unit. The LED consumes far less energy than legacy incandescent fixtures while producing high luminous output.
The 15 W LED array is marketed as delivering light comparable to much higher-wattage incandescent bulbs while using a fraction of the power and offering significantly longer operating life. It is suitable for both pools and spas.
Support includes a five-year warranty and round-the-clock customer assistance for setup and troubleshooting needs.
Pros
- IP68 sealed stainless-steel housing
- 50 ft cord and remote with multiple color modes
- Low 15 W power draw with high light output
Cons
- Requires separate 120 VAC → 12 VAC transformer
- Remote ships without batteries
- Some colors (notably red) may be less vivid
VerdictA durable, energy-efficient 1.5″ nicheless LED option for inground pools and spas. It delivers bright multi-color lighting and easy remote control while saving energy versus incandescent fixtures. Installation requires a separate 120 VAC → 12 VAC transformer and basic wiring knowledge. Overall a solid, compact lighting upgrade with long life, good waterproofing, and responsive customer support.

Easy DIY install, remote convenient
Very straightforward to install by myself and it worked right away. Remote control is handy, but remember it arrives without a battery. Installing it yourself saved a lot compared with hiring a technician.

Bright and vibrant colors
Replaced an old fiber-optic fixture and it threaded into the existing hole perfectly. Colors are vivid and the white is bright. Note the remote does not include a battery—the required cell is an A23, so order one ahead of time.

Good fit, helpful support when needed
Installation was straightforward and the light fit nicely. It did fail within a couple months, but customer service responded quickly and helped resolve the issue. Aside from that hiccup, it provides strong lumen output and flexible color options.

Durable so far, minor color issue
Installed a few weeks ago and performance has been stable. It’s bright, though slightly less intense than my prior Jandy fixture. The remote is convenient compared with toggling a switch. Red appears noticeably dimmer than other colors. Chose it based on value and positive reviews.

Great substitute for my Brio fixture
Fit my existing opening after a bit of modification to get the seal right. Far less costly than replacing the whole assembly. Brightness matches my old lamp. I had to alter wiring in the transformer box because my previous setup used a separate wall switch and wireless control. The included remote performs well and the unit feels robust. Very happy so far; long-term reliability remains to be seen.

Seamless swap during liner replacement
Installed this while replacing my liner and it dropped into the existing return hole without trouble. It replaced an older fiber-optic light and was easy to wire. Bluetooth range is a bit limited, but phone control works when nearby. The remote is simple and intuitive.

Solid metal construction with app control
Heavy-feeling, well-built unit that connects via Bluetooth to a phone app. The RGB control lets you pick precise hues, adjust brightness and run patterns or static colors. White is exceptionally bright. Installed this in my spa and it performs very well.
