Product description
What you get: one 24-inch wide by 15-foot long roll of double-sided reflective bubble insulation. The sheet arrives as a continuous roll you cut to the dimensions you need for windows, windshields, patio openings, RV glazing or tent flaps.
Construction and materials: the product is built from a bubble-core polyethylene center laminated on both sides with reflective aluminum film. The layered design creates a reflective barrier to reduce solar heat gain while the air pockets add a cushion that helps limit heat transfer and provides dimensional stability. The material is manufactured to resist tearing and to tolerate high temperatures and outdoor exposure when used properly.
Dimensions and fit: at 24 inches across and 15 feet long the roll supplies enough material to cover several standard windows or multiple smaller openings. It’s easy to trim with scissors or a utility knife so you can make snug panels for a variety of frame sizes.
How it’s installed: the sheet is lightweight and flexible, so you can attach cut panels using double-sided tape, Velcro strips, suction cups, clamps or hooks depending on the surface. For interior use place it against the glass behind blinds or curtains; for vehicles or RVs you can fit pieces directly to the inside of the windshield or window and secure with tape or reusable fasteners.
Storage and versatility: unlike rigid sunshades this bubble-foil roll folds down compactly and tucks into a glovebox, trunk, or storage bin. It’s suitable year-round — reflecting summer sun to reduce interior heat and offering extra insulation during colder months. Common applications include cars, RVs, basements, greenhouses, patio enclosures and temporary garage or door covers.
Pros
- High reflectivity reduces solar heat gain
- Durable, tear-resistant laminated construction
- Lightweight and folds small for storage
Cons
- No adhesive included for mounting
- Material can be thinner than expected
- May be visible from the outside in some installations
VerdictThis 24in x 15ft reflective bubble insulation roll provides an affordable, versatile barrier against solar gain. The composite of metallic laminated faces and a cushioned bubble core reflects a large portion of incoming heat, is tear-resistant for repeated use, and folds flat for compact storage. It requires your own mounting method (tape, suction cups, clamps or Velcro), and some users layer piec

Simple to install and store
Kept my kids’ rooms comfortable all summer with sticky dots to mount removable panels. At season’s end we peel off the adhesive, fold the sheets, and stash them away. Different sizes make trimming easy and the finished look is acceptable from outside.

Protects interiors in extreme heat
Used panels to cover truck windows that sit in the driveway. Even during triple-digit days the insulation has helped protect leather seats and interior surfaces from heat damage.

Noticeable drop in my hottest room
This roll cooled a sun-baked room quickly. The bubble foil is light but blocks heat well. It cut easily with scissors and the 24in x 15ft supply covered multiple windows; keep in mind you’ll need your own tape or Velcro to mount it.

So effective I bought more
Tested one roll on the sunniest windows of my non-air-conditioned house and saw good results, so I purchased a second roll to finish the rest. Very satisfied with the outcome.

Perfect solution for RV windows
Bought a second roll to finish insulating RV windows during a hot Texas summer. Easy to cut to different sizes and made a big difference keeping the interior cooler. I’ll buy again if needed.

Worked great when doubled up
Material felt a bit thinner than I expected, so I layered two sheets to create an insulating air gap. Sewing them helped, but duct tape or packing tape works too. The combined panel performed very well.

Real-world cooling confirmed
I live in an older building that traps heat; curtains weren't cutting it so I tried this roll. The 15-foot length covered four large and two small windows after trimming. I taped panels to the interior under the blinds and, over a few weeks, the rooms ran a couple of degrees cooler even while running AC.
