Product description
Materials and construction: The pad combines a waterproof PVC outer cover with a high-density, high-resilience PU foam interior. The top layer is textured for surface grip, while the foam core is engineered to absorb impact and soften falls.
Thickness and size: This model is 1 inch thick and comes in a large 24 x 70-inch format, providing broad coverage for turning, getting up, or repositioning at the bedside.
Anti-slip features: It uses a dual anti-slip approach — a non-slip texture on the surface plus an anti-skid backing — to reduce accidental sliding on tile, wood, or linoleum floors.
Edge design and accessibility: Beveled edges on both long sides allow easier access for wheelchairs, walkers, and for stepping on and off without creating a trip hazard.
Care and maintenance: The PVC outer shell is waterproof and wipes clean; daily spills, crumbs, and sweat marks can be removed with a damp cloth for routine upkeep.
Recommended settings: Intended for home care, nursing environments, hospitals, and kitchen areas where extra cushioning and traction are needed to reduce fall risk.

Soft, protective landing for bedside falls
Bought this for my father and it cushioned his fall well. It gives a gentle landing when he rolls out of bed. I did need to tape the corners down so the edges stayed flat.

Comfortable anti-slip pad for the kitchen
Placed it at the sink to reduce slips — very comfortable underfoot. There was a plastic smell initially, but it faded after about two weeks. A bonus: I now notice crumbs sooner while prepping food and clean up immediately.

Slips on some floor surfaces
I'm finding the mat moves away when I step on it to get up; it slides on our flooring.

Solid alternative to a loose rug by the bed
Works well instead of a throw rug beside an older person's bed — they can step onto it without sliding. It prevented many of the tumbles we had before my sister suggested it. I speak from personal experience.

Persistent chemical scent after airing out
Even after airing it for days a faint chemical odor remained. Not suitable for our bedroom as a result. Shame, because the mat otherwise seemed well made.

Noticeable chemical smell at first
It looked useful and I hope we never need it, but it had a strong chemical odor straight from the package. We've only had it a day, so maybe it will fade; I docked a star for the smell.
