Product description
What’s included: one decorative metal candle snuffer finished in a green leaf motif.
Materials and build: Constructed from solid metal with an individually hand-painted surface, the snuffer features carved embellishments for a vintage-inspired look. The handle has a textured, non-slip profile to help maintain a firm hold while in use. Decorative gems or accents may be affixed as part of the design.
Size and weight: The tool measures approximately 8–9 inches long, with the bell or cup at the end spanning roughly 1.25–1.75 inches in diameter. It has a noticeable heft — heavier than hollow replicas — that conveys durability while remaining easy to maneuver.
How to use: To extinguish a flame, position the snuffer’s bell above the candle and lower it until the flame is deprived of oxygen. This method limits smoke and preserves the wick compared with blowing. It also helps when trimming small amounts of carbonization from the tip of the wick. Compatible candle types include tapers, jar candles, aromatherapy candles and ritual candles such as Hanukkah varieties.
Care and gifting: Wipe clean with a soft cloth to preserve the painted finish and carved details. Packaged as a gift-ready decorative tool, it suits holidays and special occasions where candle use is customary.
Pros
- Solid metal construction feels durable
- Hand-painted, decorative vintage-style finish
- Non-slip handle for confident use
Cons
- Weight may be heavier than expected
- Decorative elements can be delicate
- Finish may vary between pieces
VerdictThis green-leaf metal snuffer delivers sturdy construction, decorative detailing and a non-slip grip for dependable use. It’s heavy enough to feel substantial, yet lightweight enough to handle comfortably. The hand-painted finish and carved ornamentation make it an attractive accent, and it performs reliably across candle styles. Expect some variation in finish and a delicate decorative accent tha

Charming and well made
Matches the photos, feels sturdy and not cheap. Light enough to use comfortably but solid rather than hollow. Color and scale are accurate and it extinguishes any candle I’ve tried. Fits my decor nicely.
