Product description
Included: one 500 g bottle of clear SuperElastic 3D printing resin, formulated in Korea and packaged for desktop resin printers.
Material properties: the resin is engineered to measure 60A on the Shore durometer scale and shows around 150% elongation at break, giving a soft, rubbery feel similar to two-component silicones used in prototyping. Prints cure to a tactile, silicone-like surface that can simulate skin, facial features, flexible buttons and fine hair-like details.
Printing performance: optimized for monochrome LCD systems, SuperElastic will handle 50 µm (0.05 mm) layers at very short exposure times — manufacturer guidance notes roughly 1.3 seconds per 50 µm layer on compatible machines — which speeds up print cycles and reduces energy consumption.
Productivity benefits: the fast layer cure is intended to increase throughput; in multi-printer or farm environments the manufacturer states yields can rise substantially, often cited as around a 40% uplift in print farm efficiency depending on workflow.
Post-processing and safety: parts must be thoroughly cleaned and fully post-cured; when handled and cured correctly, prints have been reported to pass ISO 10993-5 cytotoxicity testing. Note that prints can remain slightly tacky without rigorous washing (virgin IPA rinse) and adequate UV post-cure or sunlight exposure.
Pros
- Very fast curing on monochrome LCDs
- Silicone-like 60A softness and ~150% elongation
- 500 g clear bottle for multiple prints
Cons
- Strong adhesion to build plate; can be hard to remove
- Finished surfaces may stay tacky without extra cleaning/post-cure
- Some users report limited durability under repeated flexing
VerdictSuperElastic is a silicone-like 3D printing resin sold in a 500 g clear bottle that targets flexible, tactile prototypes. It delivers true 60A durometer softness and roughly 150% elongation at break, and prints very quickly on monochrome LCD machines (50 µm layers in about 1.3 seconds). That speed can boost productivity for multi-printer setups, but users should expect strong bed adhesion and occa

Flexible but not true silicone
A good flexible resin but hard to work with due to strong bed adhesion. It flexes and returns but more slowly and with less elasticity than real silicone.

Silicone-like and very flexible
Great product — very flexible and feels silicone-like in hand.

Nowhere near silicone performance
Not as stretchy or tough as cured silicone; tore easily in my tests. Contacting the company didn’t change my settings or outcome.

Bends but fails after repeated flexing
It’s soft and bendable, but hollow squeeze toys cracked after 10–20 squeezes regardless of wall thickness; pulls tear instead of stretching. I tried varied IPA and UV post-cure times with the same result. I also noticed it’s no longer shown on the maker’s site, which makes me wonder if others had issues.

Made it more rigid by mixing
I blended a standard rigid resin with this to get a firmer feel — the mix worked well for my needs.

Not stretchy enough
Great feel except it won’t stretch much beyond about 20% in my tests.

Different than advertised
Flexible, yes, but not what I’d call A-scale silicone softness. I printed at 0.02 mm, 3 s per layer; tall prints struggled. Low odor is nice, but elongation to break felt below 30%, more like typical flexible resins.

Works well for gaskets
Not a starter resin but it fills a gap. I print thin gaskets that get clamped to form seals and this has enough give to work. On my Halot Lite I ran 5 s base and ~2.5 s per 0.1 mm layer; at 2 s I saw layer separation and at 3 s some curl. Prints cling to the plate and need a firm scraper to free. Even after washing and cure the outer layer can stay tacky; a fresh IPA rinse and prolonged sun exposure removed it for me—my curing chamber alone didn’t finish it off.

Good for flexible engineering parts
Using it on a Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K with the maker’s suggested settings worked well and saved tuning time. It behaves like an engineering flexible resin with a silicone-like touch and plenty of give. Plate adhesion can be strong so patience is needed to remove parts, but I was able to do so without damage. I plan to experiment with mixing to alter properties.
