Product description
What you receive: an adjustable magnifying desk light with a 1.75× glass lens, an LED light array, a flexible gooseneck arm, a heavy removable base, a detachable clamp for edge mounting, and the AC power adapter.
Optics and lighting: the magnifier is made from optical glass that provides a clear, single-lens view for both eyes at modest magnification. The lamp uses roughly 5W worth of LED illumination and emits a warm white output near 3000K that is bright enough for detailed tasks while remaining easy on the eyes.
Build and materials: the housing and light head are molded from durable plastics with metal reinforcement in the gooseneck. The lens is glass and the base is weighted for stable placement; the base diameter measures approximately 5.5 inches, offering good balance on flat surfaces. The clamp attaches securely to tabletops and workbenches up to typical thicknesses.
Size and reach: the long, flexible neck allows the lens and light to be positioned over work without needing to bend over the project. The optical field is wide enough to view with both eyes, and there is meaningful clearance under the lens to maneuver tools, brushes, or small parts while working.
How it's used: set it on the weighted base for stationary tasks or swap to the clamp to secure it to a table edge. Angle the gooseneck to center the lens over your work and use the simple on/off control to illuminate the area. It’s intended for crafts such as miniature painting, diamond painting, sewing, embroidery, jewelry and coin inspection, reading fine print, and electronics or eyeglass repair.
Durability and maintenance: the lens can be removed for cleaning, and the LED module is rated for long life, reducing the need for bulb changes. The lamp’s simple electrical components and sturdy base/clamp arrangement emphasize practicality and long-term use rather than fancy features.
Pros
- Clear 1.75× glass lens with wide field of view
- Flexible gooseneck plus weighted base and clamp for versatile mounting
- Energy-efficient 5W LEDs that last for thousands of hours
Cons
- Only a single on/off light setting, no dim or color modes
- Can become unsteady if fully extended without extra counterweight
- Clamp has limited maximum throat depth for thicker surfaces
VerdictA practical, no-frills magnifying lamp that delivers steady illumination and low-power LED lighting alongside a clear 1.75× glass lens. The flexible neck and dual mounting options (weighted base plus clamp) make it adaptable for sofas, desks, workbenches, and hobby tables. It favors durability and simple operation over advanced controls, making it a reliable choice for extended crafting sessions,

Perfect for diamond painting
Clamps firmly to my work surface and holds its position. Even without using the magnifier, the light makes a big difference. Highly recommend for diamond painting.

Ideal gift for older crafters
Exactly what a senior needed for coloring and puzzles. Bright but not harsh, and it makes small details very clear. Very pleased.

Simple, effective — no unnecessary bells
I wanted a bright, flexible lamp without extra features. This model is bright, has a straightforward switch, and a decent heavy base. It can tip if fully extended, but the base cup can accept weights if you need extra ballast. It’s like old-school practical task lamps with modern LEDs and a magnifier.

Does the job as advertised
The magnifier is usable compared with others I’ve tried, and the light is bright enough for close tasks. Overall a solid unit.

Replaced after six years of use
I had this lamp for six years and used it heavily for miniature painting. Very sturdy, easy to adjust, and bright. When it finally failed I bought the same model again because it fit my needs so well.

Good working distance for standing projects
The magnification is low but gives plenty of space beneath the lens to move small files and brushes, which is essential for my standing craft work. I wear bifocals and can use this without extra head magnifiers. The glass is clear and the light is bright with a single on/off control; the small adapter is easy to tuck into a power strip.

Very bright with flexible mounting
Great for embroidery — the white light is bright and the base is very heavy so it won’t tip easily. Switching between the base and clip is straightforward and the magnifier helps spot missed stitches. The clamp won’t open deep enough for very thick tabletops.

Check the plug type for international use
The lamp seems well made, but the power supply is configured for American outlets, so I needed a plug adapter to use it here.

Bright and practical for detailed work
I use it for drawing, knitting corrections, hand stitching, and small repairs. It can be a bit tippy when fully extended, but adding a bit of weight fixes that. The magnifier helps my aging eyes and it still works like new after a year of daily use.

Works well for needlework and sofa use
I like that it arrived with both a heavy base and a clamp. The base (about 5.5" across) gives good stability when I set it beside me on the couch, and the long, flexible neck reaches comfortably over my shoulder to light my stitching. The glass lens is clear. I appreciate that it uses LEDs rather than a hard-to-replace bulb.
