Product description
What’s included
The package contains a wall charger housing a built-in retractable Lightning cable (extends to 33.5 inches) and a charging block with Power Delivery capability plus one additional USB-A port. The plug folds flat for compact storage and travel.
Materials and dimensions
The charger uses a durable ABS-style outer case with a textured grip, reinforced cable core and a compact footprint suitable for countertops or packing. The retractable cable reaches 33.5 in (approximately 85 cm) and the mechanism provides 10 distinct length stops for short or extended runs.
How it works
To use, plug the charger into a standard wall outlet, pull the Lightning lead to the desired stop, and connect your device. The internal spring-loaded reel retracts the cable quickly — typically within a second; if the cable won’t fully return, pull it an extra centimeter and it will reset. The USB-C PD output supplies the 40W fast-charge capability while the USB-A port lets you top up a second device. Designed to keep surfaces neat at home, in the office, or while traveling.
Pros
- 40W Power Delivery for fast charging
- Space-saving retractable Lightning cable with 10 stops
- Compact, travel-friendly fold-flat plug
Cons
- Outer casing can come loose on some units
- Retract mechanism may need an extra 1 cm tug to reset
- Only one built-in Lightning lead included
VerdictDelivers speedy PD charging while eliminating cable clutter. The retractable 33.5-inch Lightning lead adjusts in 10 stops and snaps back quickly, making it great for kitchens, offices, and trips. Reliable performance and an extra USB-A port are highlights; a few units show a loose outer shell that may need reinforcement.

Charges fast but housing shifted
Excellent fast-charge performance, but the outer shell on ours started to open when unplugging. I had to tape it closed.

So good the family keeps borrowing it
I’ve bought several of these over the last year and they’ve all worked without failure. They charge very fast and the extra USB port is handy. Everyone in my house reaches for these before anything else.

When not in use it makes the counter look clean since there aren’t cables everywhere. Very nice for daily use.

Compact, reliable, and fast
This Gitryin retractable charger is compact and well-built. The Lightning reel works smoothly and the foldable plug is ideal for travel. The 40W PD charges my iPhone 13 quickly in about an hour without getting hot or noisy, and the extra USB port is useful for a second device.
