Product description
Heavy-duty construction
The mirror mounts on an all-metal stand with a robust clamp that includes a sponge pad to protect monitor or desk surfaces from scratching. The metal stem and joint are built for durability, and the mounting assembly offers 360-degree rotation so you can aim the glass where you need it.
Mirror details
The reflective surface is a frameless rectangular convex panel measuring 6.69 inches by 2.95 inches. It uses real HD glass to maximize clarity while the convex shape widens your field of view, letting you see more of what’s behind you than a flat mirror of the same size.
Versatile clip-on design
The clamp accepts edges up to 2 inches thick and can be attached to desks, cubicle walls, cabinets, or thin monitor bezels. Use it as a personal safety mirror, a cubicle security monitor, or simply to glance at your own appearance during calls. Because it clips on, it’s portable and can be repositioned as your setup changes.
Simple setup and kit contents
Installation requires no tools — just clamp it where you want and fine-tune the angle. The package includes one metal stand with clamp and one rectangular mirror panel. Unlike adhesive models, this unit can be moved or removed without residue, making it convenient for temporary or changing workspaces.
Pros
- Sturdy all-metal clamp and stem
- Clear HD glass with wide convex view
- Full 360° adjustment for targeting
Cons
- Gooseneck can be quite stiff to reposition
- Clamp takes force to open on some surfaces
- Convex glass produces some image distortion
VerdictThis Ampper clip-on convex mirror is solidly built and delivers a broad rear-facing view in a compact package. The metal clip and stem feel durable and the HD glass provides a clear, wide-angle image. If you need to move or re-position the mirror often, the gooseneck can be stiff and the clamp requires some force to open. Expect a bit of convex distortion typical of this mirror style, but overall

ANG 5/5
Solid but stiff for frequent repositioning
Very sturdy construction — that strength means it’s harder to move often. The ball joint handles small tweaks well, but the gooseneck is rigid and the clamp needs a lot of hand pressure to open. The mirror is a bit narrow vertically, but similar to a car rearview in coverage if you orient it creatively.

Handy for lash technicians and precise work
Great for lash techs — very sturdy with a strong, reliable grip that keeps the mirror steady during detailed tasks.

Functional but glass is a bit wavy
Clamp and arm keep the mirror steady once set. The panel is clear and slightly convex, but the reflection has noticeable waviness that can make faces look distorted after staring.

Excellent for cubicle use and adjustable
I prefer it over adhesive mirrors because I can move it. Clipped under a cabinet, I switch angles for sitting or standing and the view remains clear. The heavy-duty clip holds well and it’s handy for monitoring what’s behind without turning.

Jason 4/5
Generous mirror area, awkward mount size
The clamp is very strong but the long neck makes placement bulky on some monitors. I clamped it to the side and attempted to bend the neck down, which looked odd but worked. The mirror itself shows more area than typical circular desk mirrors, but tighten the ball joint or it will slowly droop.

No more surprise sneak-ups while gaming
Clipped to my gaming rig, this mirror ended surprise approaches from behind. I spotted movement in the reflection and avoided being startled during a match. Useful for gamers and desk workers who get distracted when focused.

Noticeably improves situational awareness
Compact and easy to attach to monitors, desks, or cabinets. It gives a useful wide-angle look behind you and reduces blind spots in busy shared spaces. The glass is clear and the build feels durable, making it a practical addition where visibility matters.

Convex glass — expected curvature
The only downside is that the mirror is curved, which I knew from the listing. I keep it on my desk to check my appearance during calls; I didn’t buy it to watch behind me.
