Product description
What you get: a 32-ounce spray bottle of 303 Marine Multi-Surface Cleaner, a water-safe detailing solution intended for use on vinyl, canvas, and a wide range of exterior and interior surfaces.
Materials and compatibility: alcohol-free formulation safe for fabrics and vinyl, and suitable on chrome, plastic, metal, aluminum, rubber, stainless steel, painted surfaces and other common marine or outdoor materials. It’s backed by an endorsement from Sunbrella, a leading outdoor fabric maker.
How it’s used: spray the product onto the soiled area until it’s wet. For general dust and light dirt, wipe away with a microfiber towel or rinse clean. When treating fabric, apply the cleaner and work the area with a soft-bristle brush to loosen soil before removing residue with a damp cloth.
For heavy soiling: increase contact time and agitation. Repeat the application if necessary for stubborn stains or deeply embedded debris.
Care and storage: use as part of regular maintenance to keep gear looking refreshed. The formula is designed to rinse clean without leaving residue. The manufacturer indicates a two-year usable period from the bottle’s pack date, shown as YYDDD on the label.
Pros
- Safe on many materials including fabric and vinyl
- Alcohol-free formula that rinses clean
- Endorsed by a major outdoor fabric maker
Cons
- May need extra agitation for heavy stains
- Separate protectant recommended after cleaning
- Single bottle size may not suit large jobs
VerdictA versatile, alcohol-free detailing spray designed for boats and outdoor gear that safely cleans vinyl, canvas, upholstery, metal, and plastics. Works well on stubborn grime and embedded ash when used with agitation or a soft brush; follow with a protectant if desired. Easy to use: spray, scrub for fabric, then wipe or rinse. Recommended for routine maintenance and seasonal deep cleaning.

Did an okay job, not flawless
Treated patio furniture and it removed many spots but not every mark. I used it together with a waterproofing product and may try it again to see if different technique helps.

Impressive on outdoor cushions — keeping a spare
Found an older partial bottle and tried it on a stained outdoor cushion — it removed the spot quickly. I bought a fresh bottle and cleaned all the patio cushions before winter; they came out looking refreshed. It’s handy to have one product that works on fabrics, vinyl, umbrellas and car interiors. Very pleased and will repurchase.

Great for watercraft and vehicles
Recommended for my personal watercraft and it performed wonderfully. Now I also use it on the RV to remove bugs and road grime, then follow with dish soap and a rinse. Surfaces air-dry looking renewed.

Excellent for mold and mildew on covers
Bought to tackle mold on lounge covers. Sprayed, scrubbed with a brush and rinsed — the fabric cleaned up very well. Converted me into a fan of this cleaner.

Removed wildfire ash that other cleaners couldn't
Worked on ash that had embedded in a spa cover. Regular cleaners failed, but this dissolved the residue and restored the cover; followed up with a protectant and it looks much better. Great for tough, baked-on debris.

Keeps boat finish easier to maintain
Good for preserving finish — clean, then apply a protective layer and repeat a couple times a year if exposed to sun. Makes wiping away bugs and dirt much simpler.

Worth buying for fabric seats
Pleasantly surprised by the results. A light spray and a little scrubbing revived the seats and they now look excellent. Definitely a worthwhile product.

Restored my car interior close to original condition
Used with a melamine sponge and it transformed my 15-year-old interior. Surfaces now look almost like new.

A bit pricier but effective for canvas prep
Chose this cleaner to avoid mixing brands before reproofing Sunbrella canvas. Applied to stubborn soiling, laundered on cold, and the stains lifted. Followed with fabric guard and was happy enough to use it on other gear too.

Clears deep grime from interiors
This is a truly effective all-purpose cleaner. It revealed layers of dirt in my car I didn’t realize were there and neutralized lingering odors instead of masking them. Unscented, powerful, and removes a surprising amount of built-up residue.
