Product description
This listing includes two identical 2-gallon plastic poultry waterers — each a red base with a white reservoir — supplied as a pair so you have backup or can place one in multiple pens. Each unit holds roughly two gallons of water, enough to cover a day’s drinking needs for a small flock of chickens, ducks or quail.
The bodies are molded from injection plastic designed for farm use. The bright red base is intended to draw birds to the drinking area while the white tower stores the water. A molded carry handle on the top of the reservoir makes transport and refilling easier, and the units are light enough to move between pens or take along when traveling.
These drinkers operate by gravity: fill the reservoir, invert it over the base, and water dispenses automatically into the trough as birds drink. The design simplifies cleaning — the reservoir lifts off for rinsing — and there are no complex parts or pumps to maintain.
The shape and lip of the base reduce the amount of dirt and bedding that can enter the water, helping keep the supply fresher. The low-profile trough discourages splashing and water fights that wet bedding and can lead to mess or health issues.
Ideal for backyard and small-scale poultry keepers, the two-pack covers short absences or provides extra capacity in multiple pens. While convenient and attractive, the lightweight plastic is intended for general farm use rather than heavy-duty, year-round industrial applications.
Pros
- 2-gallon capacity per unit
- Simple gravity-fed dispensing
- Bright red-and-white design attracts birds
Cons
- Thin plastic can dent or warp
- Packaging may deform units in transit
- Less durable than metal alternatives
VerdictA practical, low-effort option for small to medium flocks: easy to fill, bright for bird attraction, and good for short-term or travel use. The plastic construction is lightweight and functional but will not match the longevity of metal units.

Great for small flocks
Perfect size for quail and chicks. Came a bit bent but I reshaped it. I use them when I travel so birds have water for days. No leaks, fills and refills easily; handle is handy. Deducted one star for shipping damage.

Very flimsy
Complete junk — very flimsy and warped on arrival. Boxes crushed them so the lids wouldn’t seal. Terrible packaging and construction; these won’t hold up.
